Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail film, a biopic about IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, will soon be screened on more than 22,000 screens across China the actor said to India Today. Vikrant added that he’ll visit China to promote the film.
“After many years it happened. I am really thrilled about it. 12th Fail will be available across more than 10,000 screens throughout China. I will be traveling to China to promote it. The film’s creators had been trying to get it released on China,” Vikrant told to a newspaper.
“There is a massive need in Hindi movie theater in China. The country has offered us over 20,000 screens in the 12th Fail film. China is a major player in the entertainment sector,” he added.
Bollywood star Aamir Khan has also traveled to China to promote his blockbuster ‘Dangal’ 2016. In addition the film he directed in 2009 “3 Idiots,” also did very well in China.

The film focuses on the challenges that millions of students face trying to take an UPSC entrance test. The film is the tale of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who made it to the rank of an IPS officer despite having a family in poverty.
Based on the novel of Anurag Pathak, Vikrant is a young Manoj from Chambal who dreams of becoming an officer in the police force. Medha Shankr is the wife to Manoj Kumar Sharma and is who is an IRS officer known as Shraddha Joshi.
The month of March was when IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma was promoted to the rank of inspector general (IG) from deputy inspector general (DIG) within the Maharashtra Police.
